Basic tutorial for OpenJPA

Take a look at this new tutorial on the Apache site.

Begin using OpenJPA - The Basics
This sample and tutorial steps through the requirements, setup, code and deployment of an OpenJPA implementation with a JSP web application on Geronimo. It is geared for those that are just beginning with OpenJPA. Users will be given detailed instructions for each part of the setup including the setup of Eclipse, Geronimo and the Derby database. For those developers that have been wanting to explore the power of OpenJPA, this is where you begin.

This will get someone going in OpenJPA even if they are new to Geronimo, Derby and OpenJPA

this tutorial uses Geronimo 2.2 and the Geronimo 2.2 plugin for Eclipse. It seems that that plugin is not yet completely available. It is still in the staging area. So, if you are setting up Eclipse with Geronimo for the first time and the 2.2 plugin is still not yet available (you can check here), just use Geronimo 2.1 and GEP 2.1.3
